NUSTAR Resort Cebu is taking meaningful steps toward a greener future as it continues its environmental sustainability efforts through a successful tree-planting activity held last May 16, 2026, in Camp 4, Barangay Manipis, Talisay City.
As part of its long-term Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment, NUSTAR Resort Cebu aims to plant 100,000 trees by 2028 — a continuing initiative focused on reforestation, environmental protection, and building a more resilient Cebu for future generations.

The activity was conducted in partnership with the CAMMITA Farmers Association, whose members provided local expertise and support throughout the initiative. The collaboration reflects the importance of strengthening partnerships with local communities in creating lasting environmental impact.

Fifty employees from NUSTAR Resort Cebu volunteered in the activity, dedicating their time and effort to support the cause and reinforce the company’s shared commitment to sustainability. The resort also shared that similar tree-planting activities will continue on a monthly basis as part of its ongoing environmental programs.
Through initiatives like these, NUSTAR Resort Cebu continues to champion sustainability while fostering stronger community partnerships that contribute to a better and greener future for Cebu.
