LAPU-LAPU CITY- The Bureau of Customs Subport of Mactan here has gained P309M revenue surplus from January to June this year.
Based on the revenue collection data acquired by πππ°π¬πππ« ππ‘π’π₯π’π©π©π’π§ππ¬, the Subport headed by Customs Collector Gerardo Campo also surpassed all its monthly targets, indicating a very effective collection efficiency for the entire six months.
It actually collected P1, 048, 592, 743.04Β (One Billion Forty Eight Million Five Hundres Ninety Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Three Pesos and Four Centavos) as against its assigned revenue collection target of P739, 000, 000.00 (Seven Hundred Thirty Nine Million Pesos) for the first semester duration.
Campo said the subport’s men and women did their jobs well especially the assessment section under the watch of Deputy Collector for Assessment Nelie Wilwayco.
For the said six months, the Subport had a surplus collection of P309, 592, 743.04 thus registering a 41.89 positive deviation. The Subport is being assigned with an annual target of P1, 580, 830, 000.00.
Ably assisting Coll. Campo is Customs Collector Verlito Ajos, the subport’s Deputy Collector for Operations who have extensive experience in airport revenue generation ang passenger services in the Mactan Cebu International Airport. The present chief of the Subport’s Passenger Services is Customs Operations Officer 3 (COO 3) Jay Oyao.
The Subport of Mactan also has jurisdiction over the Mactan Economic Zone MEZ 1 and 2 and the Cebu Light Industrial Park./CCO
